Title: Dark Thief
Series: The Two Sides of Me
Author: Amy Lynn Garcia
I can feel his ankles brushing against my own. And then I hear a click, what the hell? He’s taking pictures of me! I jump and flip to my back opening my eyes to Evan towering over me with an enormous professional looking camera.
“What the hell Evan? I’m naked!” “I’m well aware baby now close your eyes and relax, I want some of this side.” “Evan! No!” It’s then that I look at my arms, and then propping up I see my legs, hell every inch of me! I’m covered in his signature! Evan Lawson is scrawled across my skin in various sizes but the same name over and over, delicate looking font in some places and bold in others. He’s claimed me, quite literally.
Shocked and confused, mouth agape I look up at him as he stands there awaiting my cooperation. “Close your mouth baby, a bird might…” I cut him off “Evan! Why…why is your name…everywhere?” I lift my arms as if to show him what he’s done. “Because you are mine.” “And you couldn’t think of a better way to show that?” “No, I like you covered in my autograph and I’m taking you out tonight to Dominus for dinner and drinks. I know all too well how my customers gawk and I don’t want anyone’s lustful eyes on you.” I think my mouth is hanging even wider if that’s possible.
He wants me to go out like this, covered in his signature, so that no one will look at me. Ok, he’s totally lost it, I’m not going anywhere like this. “Uh uh, no way, I can’t go out all marked up like this!” “Lay down Mia I want to get a few more shots.”
I am Amy Lynn Garcia, daughter, sister, cousin, mother, nurse, and
grandma...no..no...call me Mimi I'm too young to be a grandma, writer and friend. We are all something to someone, and I love all the hats I wear in my life. I was born in 1969 which is where I lay blame to my compulsion to write erotica and romance, wink. That makes me...uh...yea 45, no way really? My mind is still very young but not naive I've seen a lot and experienced more, you may think I don't know what's going on but be assured this Mama knows what's up! I enjoy creating characters that have something people can relate to, who are real, addictive and intriguing. Love has always been a desire just out of my reach, as it is for many people. I believe that is what draws me into stories with superb happily ever afters. I want to connect with people on that level, let them know they aren't alone, that love can triumph over all, we all long for that special one that takes our breath away.
Let books be the bridge to a wonderful new realm of possibilities. ~Phoenix Johnson, From Ashes to Page

Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back!
I'm wondering how many of you read the title to the tune of the Welcome Back Kotter theme song? I know I did, and I haven't even seen the show. I just know the tune.
So I'm finally reopening The Naughty Pages after a hiatus of a year. Almost to the day, actually. Almost. It's taken me this long to get even close to back to normal after a family tragedy last year that is still taking its toll. It's just one of those ones that I won't ever totally "get over". So I do ask for patience because sometimes, posts may be sporadic. I will try my best, though, to keep posting regularly.
This time around, I'll be doing things differently. I'll be doing 2-3 posts a week, sometimes promo for others, sometimes guest posts, maybe the occasional review, or snippets from WIP's, or discussions of interesting topics. I want to keep the content fairly relaxed. So I will be open for suggestions on what readers want to see. I will be trying to keep the days the same, however. That may take a couple weeks or so to sort out and settle into.
To kick the blog back off, I'd love to talk about The Return of Their Master. My second title, it was released in April of this year. A first peek at a different world of vampires, it's a chance to dip your toe into new waters. The Return of Their Master is stand alone at the moment, and follows Angie, her three sisters and the man she wishes she didn't love, Jake. Angie doesn't want to put Jake in danger, yet her choice is taken when her Creator, Vitalis, tracks her and her sisters down. She is forced to tell him her secret, and it's not as simple as "I'm a vampire."
When Mary, the oldest sister, is taken, Angie and her two remaining sisters are forced to team up with Jake, who is also a weapon enthusiast, to take on their Creator and get their sister back. Things aren't as simple as defeating their dark father, however, and Angie gets more than she bargained for. Can she forgo her future with Jake, or will she throw caution to the wind and risk dooming vampires and mankind alike?
Phoenix Johnson is an Australian author who has always had the passion for the written word. She had her nose in at least one book ever since she could read and would even scrutinize the back of the cereal box every morning at breakfast. It was only natural she take up writing.
After reviewing a few delicious titles for Naughty Nights Press as she wrote her first title, The Wolf in the Neighborhood, Phoenix was of one mind to submit it to NNP, and she hasn't looked back. The Return of Their Master now joins her first title for sale, and both books are receiving great reviews. Phoenix feels that being invited to write for the NNP blog is a great honour, and loves being part of the team!
You can get in touch with Phoenix on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr or view her website here, or buy her books direct from Naughty Nights Press, or other good ebook distributors.

Hello, Betty,
and a very warm welcome to The Naughty Pages. I’m thrilled to have you here
today to discuss your writing.
~So tell
me, what specifically do you write?
I like to
write about stubborn dominate man. Who demand their own way. I like to put them
in the 1800’s. It’s the Historical Romance bug in me. I guess.
Love a bit of the historical from time to time, myself!
~What
type of writer are you; do you plot it out or, like myself, are you a pantser?
I’m a
little of both. Usually, I have plotted out the settings, major events, and
ending in great detail. Once I start to write my characters tend to ad-lib some
very interesting stuff I hadn’t thought of before.
~Why did
you first take up the pen, so to speak?
In 2008
unemployed and bored to death. Unemployed meant funds were tight and I had
re-read every book in the house. I had the time and decided to write the book I
wanted to read. Boy, was I surprised.
Definitely, I am
a newbie.
If I had known, I would be doing this earlier
in life I would have taken classes to learn how to do it correctly. I struggle
with every sentence. Now, I’m too old in the sense every time I think I get it
right tomorrow I have forgotten it. I really don’t mind because I decided to
have fun with it and I do.
And really, isn't that the important thing? Enjoying it, having fun with it, means the passion is there.
~You
write specific genres, do you find them enjoyable to read as well?
Betty
writes the more erotic dominate romances. I do read a few every now and again.
~As a
writer, who is an idol of yours?
I not sure she’s what I call my Idol. I do
like Cherise Sinclair’s works. She makes you look forward to reading with the anticipation of what’s next.
~Is it
the same person for you as a reader? If not, who is your favourite author to
read?
That’s a
hard one for I read so many different genes now. I really don’t have a current
favorite. That’s one of the outcomes of being a writer. You get exposed to
books you never would have looked twice at before. Now you read them and
enjoyed them.
~Are there any shoutouts you’d like to make?
Yes, there
are. Sizzler Editions- Jean Marie Stine whose kind words encouraged me to push
past the self-doubt and just write. The Readers for without them where would we
be. And the authors I have come to know who believe in the ‘Pay it forward ‘
and stepped up to share ideas and their knowledge with me.

Release Day for J. S. Morbius, Top of the Class!

Have you ever had a teacher so hot you just couldn’t concentrate on the work? Were you in need of some “special” after-class instruction and discipline, perhaps?
Julian’s grades used to be at the top of the class in Psychology, but the new lecturer was the most distracting teacher he had ever encountered. Instead of concentrating on his studies, Julian spent his time in her class dreaming of all the things he wished he could do with her.
Ms. Hamilton also knew why Julian’s work had slumped, and keeping him back after class she dished out her special brand of punishment designed to teach him more then just a Psychology lesson.
Only, Ms. Hamilton was hiding a secret; a secret she knew she had to reveal. She just didn’t have a clue how Julian would react.
What is Ms. Hamilton’s secret? Will Julian’s grades improve? Find out, as Julian begins a journey that reveals as much about him, as it does the beautiful, yet mysterious, Ms. Hamilton.
Oh this does sound delicious. So what are you waiting for? Go grab your copy now! And don't forget to stop by The Crypt to see what else J. S. Morbius is up to!
And how about you readers? Do you have any university lecturer crushes to share? Or even just a hottie teacher in high school? The Naughty Pages are here for all your naughty little secrets... ;)
