Amazon - Nook - iBooks - Kobo - ARe - NNP - Goodreads

Angelica Dawson, bestselling author of the Blue Moon House series, has been writing for several years and having sex a lot longer than that. Angelica is a wife, mother and environmental consultant. Her love of plants and the outdoors is not diminished by the bloodsucking hoards -- mosquitoes and black flies, not vampires. She is active on Twitter (@angelicadawson) and Facebook (facebook.com/authorangelicadawson)

Julia is the newest vampire of Blue Moon House, introduced in the first book of the series. She has some questions for Nicholas.

What was it like when Sophia changed you?

Sophia isn't my maker.

Oh. Was it Lynn then?

No. I was already a vampire when I met them at Blue Moon House in London.

Really? What happened to your family?

They were burned. When I returned, many nights later, there was no sign of them, but the charred house told me they were gone.

I'm sorry. At least you found Sophia and Lynn.

Yes. That was a blessing in many ways. They taught me how to drink without killing my partners. I wasn't very good at it in the beginning.

That sounds ominous. What happened?

I don't like to talk about it. It was difficult to put behind me. Let's just say, I carry those two souls with me through the centuries and will as long as I live.

Forgive me for striking a nerve. Let's talk about something more pleasant. Do you prefer men or women?

Ha! That is certainly more pleasant. I don't really have a preference. I want to make all men and women feel loved, cared for, and special. Do I succeed?

You did with me. Thank you for that.

My pleasure, and that pleasure continues, as you know.

Yeah, I know. How you make me feel special with three other woman is a wonder.

It's not so difficult. What is trying is deciding who to focus on in a given encounter. You understand why.

I can hardly stay focused on anyone but myself when we are all in that giant bed.

There is nothing wrong with that. I for one enjoy watching you enjoy yourself.

You are too good to me. How long have you been a vampire?

Too long. You are new, so time still has meaning. I'm... five centuries old. Years blur together into decades. The real punctuation comes from lifestyle changes. Before I joined Blue Moon House. Before the fire and coming to America. Before William. Before you.

Me?

Yes, my dear. You have come after a long spell. The last, Jocelyn, joined us a century ago. You are a very special case.

No, I'm not.

You are, just as special as...

Nicholas?

You've brought their memory back again. I haven't thought about them this much in a long time.

Please tell me about them?

Cousins. He was effeminate and she was handsome, neither typically beautiful and both magnificent.

What happened to them?

Me. I happened to them.

I drank too heavily and Emma died in her bed. When George came to check on her, I killed him as well.

You didn't kill him. He fell.

Sophia, you've told me that a million times and a million times I've said he would still be alive if he hadn't met me.

He wouldn't have been happy either.

Perhaps.

I don't know what to say.

I do. Your penance isn't done. Pick up that guilt and put it where it belongs.

Yes. Candace will be here soon. I should prepare for her.

What did that mean?

He is going to make her feel the way he tried to make Emma feel, the way he made you feel.

Melody is looking off the pages for her own Christian Grey until a cocky paramedic redefines what a Dom is supposed to be.Curtis, moving from scene to scene, doesn’t anticipate how Melody will worm her way into his life. Is he ready for a 24/7 relationship?

Angelica Dawson, bestselling Naughty Nights Press author, has been writing for several years and having sex a lot longer than that. Angelica is a wife, mother and environmental consultant. Her love of plants and the outdoors is not diminished by the bloodsucking hoards -- mosquitoes and black flies, not vampires. You can sample her wares by dropping by her blog: http://angelicadawson.blogspot.com

I’m so happy to get to meet all of you! I hope you’ll find my inclusion, Cardiac Melody, is music to your heart!

Tell us about your title featured in this set:

Cardiac Melody tells the story of Melody and the Paramedic she falls for after literally falling for him. I liked the play between cardiac, of the heart, and the name, so I mushed them together. I’m Punny like that. When thinking about a medical romance, the BDSM side shouted, hey, how about a newbie that gets hurt and meets someone who can really show her the ropes (pun intended). It came together pretty quickly after that.

Tell us something about yourself:I live in Edmonton, Alberta with my husband and daughter. My day jobs include environmental consultant and lunch supervisor, because, y’know, two jobs wasn’t enough. I do have a Science degree and my specialty is native plants. It’s a good thing school is out in July and August or I’d have no time to think!

Tell us about your writing process:

My stories all revolve around character. The basic plots come most often in the form of She is trying to convince Him of Conflict. As I build those characters, I often meet their friends, relatives, pets and other pressures that build the story. I tend to write chronologically, but when I hit a block, I try to jump ahead and then fill in the gap later.

What is your favorite genre to read?

Audiobooks. I have found my reading very spotty and my concentration isn’t always able to slow down to the pace I read. Audiobooks let my hands and analytical brain do other things so the rest can actually enjoy the story.

What would you say is the one thing are you most passionate about?

Leaving a better world for my daughter. I try to do that in the way I live, my job, and our family choices. For instance, we only have one car, which my husband needs to get to work (no buses that way). We walk to school and work. It’s one of the reasons I love ebooks. Save the trees and all that.

When you are not writing, what do you like to do?

There are several handicrafts I enjoy. Crochet, needlepoint and recently I’ve taken up adult coloring. It is wonderfully relaxing.

If someone who hasn’t read any your books asked you to describe your story in this set (the elevator pitch!) what would you say?

Fifty fan meets the Paramedic version of an upgraded Christian Grey.

Where can readers connect with you?

I post excerpts several times a week on my blog. You can get all sorts of sneak peeks there. http://angelicadawson.blogspot.com

I’m also on facebook (facebook.com/authorangelicadawson) and twitter (twitter.com/angelicadawson).

Thank you so much for listening to my rambling. I hope you enjoy all the great titles in this set. I know I have enjoyed working with the authors.

Alexa bent over his dining room table, ankles and wrists cuffed to canvas straps that connected them beneath it. Her nails scraped on the smooth surface as he spanked her again.

“You like that, don’t you?” he asked, running his nails down her back and over her heated rear. He teased along her slit, opening her lips slightly, and then spanking again.

“Mmm, yes, sir. Yipe!” She enjoyed his treatment even though the pain was mounting. It was time to make her come again. Using his large headed wand, he stimulated her until she was writhing and then slipped his fingers into her pussy.

So wet and slick, he worried he wasn’t firm enough, that he should add more fingers. Alexa didn’t complain though, grinding into fingers and vibrator, her ass shaking.

“Fuck, fuck, fuck, yes.”

“Yes, sir,” Curtis reminded her.

“Yes, sir,” she said in a drawl that fit her moaning. “Yes, sir. Yes, yes, sir.” She planted her forehead on the table as her core tightened, and her shaking switched to more languorous thrusting. Her cries changed too, from high pitched whining to a low grunt.

Cover Reveal for Blue Moon House: Investor by @angelicadawson

Blue Moon House: Investor by Angelica Dawson
Amazon - Amazon UK - All Romance Ebooks (all formats)
Coming September 1st

Terrance is fascinated with the vampires of Blue Moon House. When a fire leaves them homeless, he seizes the opportunity to put them in his debt and himself into their hearts. They agree to his proposition of a new house in America and set off on a voyage of wonder, danger and pleasure.

Investor is the fifth installment of Angelica Dawson's Blue Moon House series. With each subsequent volume set further into the past, there is no need to read these books in order. Just pick it up, and enjoy!

Here is a longer excerpt from Investor:

He’d been coming to the ladies of Blue Moon House long enough that the true proprietor of the House had identified herself. Sophia and Lynn shared more than ebony black hair, they were also much older than they appeared, eternal. Once sure of his discretion, they had asked for payment in a new fashion. All the whores knew Sophia, Lynn and Nicholas were vampires, but Terrance was one of the few clients to share in the secret.

If Lynn had bitten Eliza, the girl was lucky to still be as focused as she was. The vampire bite was accompanied by a rush greater than any tobacco, any opiate. However, the object was to provide him with a show, not feed. If she wanted that, she should have taken Amelia’s place.

“Mmm,” Amelia hummed in response to his increased arousal, the thought of Lynn biting him. He wanted to chide Lynn but didn’t want to interrupt.

Terrance pushed Amelia back and rose, approaching Lynn’s feet on the edge of the bed. He stroked his palms up the back of her legs while she used her mouth on Eliza. He couldn’t see her biting, only licking and sucking. The other girl swayed, her hands searching under Lynn, presumably for her small, round breasts.

Terrance had always preferred the woman with glowing brown eyes, even before he knew what she was. Using his thumbs, he gently pulled open the lips between her thighs. The skin between was pink, but not red like Eliza’s. That was nearly as dark as Lynn’s tongue. Amelia’s hands slid over his hips, stroking him while she pressed against his back.

He’d intended to watch the women, but it wasn’t enough. Amelia was doing a wonderful job, but he didn’t want to sit by. He wanted to be surrounded by women, smothered under them.

Blue Moon House: Slave release tour

Will has no interest in women. He thinks them all animals to be trained, beaten. It doesn't take him long to discover his preference for men, but time and error reveal how wrong view toward women is. Before long, he is able to separate the way he treats women, which is still horrific, from the way he regards women, as fellow human beings.
How does a slave become an equal? What does it take for a young man to see women in a new light?

In the fourth installment of her Blue Moon House series, Angelica introduces Will, a slave boy from the early nineteenth century. You can purchase Slave on Amazon. Smashwords, All Romance Ebooks and Naughty Nights Press.
Angelica Dawson is the author of Blue Moon House, which has been in the top ten best-selling titles at Naughty Nights Press for over six months. She has also written two short stories, “The Highest Bidder” and “Leave Taking” which were each included in anthologies. She contributes flash fiction to several blogging collectives and excerpts from work in progress can also be found on her blog. She is active on Facebook and Twitter.
She has been writing for several years and having sex a lot longer than that. Angelica is a wife, mother and environmental consultant. Her love of plants and the outdoors is not diminished by the bloodsucking hoards – mosquitoes and black flies, not vampires.

Here is an excerpt from Slave:

After switching his attack to her chest, he returned to her legs again. He knew he could continue to strike a spot if he gave enough time between lashes. Then he took hold of the hair between her legs and pulled hard on it.
The woman arched her back and murmured. She wasn’t in pain; she was about to climax. He could feel her skin vibrating with pent up pleasure. She ground into his coiled fingers.
He released her hair and kicked her legs farther apart. He slapped the inside of each thigh and she gyrated more. Gripping the dark, curly hair of her sex, he tugged and she cried out. Again, it wasn’t a plea to stop, rather a call to God. He pulled his hand back and slapped her sex.
“Will!” Terrance called. The woman just bucked harder. He rubbed his palm into her for a moment, and then wound up for another strike.
“Yes,” she groaned, rubbing herself into his hand, her orgasm just about to break loose. He struck her one last time, hitting her sex hard, and she screamed out, her legs closing around his hand as she moaned and writhed. He curled his fingers and slipped them into her canal. She closed her eyes and squeezed happily on him. As she relaxed, he noticed the flush that had spread down her chest, turning her dark skin slightly rosy.
He leaned over her, his hand still cupping her, fingers inserted. He kissed one breast and then took a nipple between his teeth, biting softly. He rolled it between his teeth, his tongue touching the tip before biting down again.
The woman was lost. She thrust into his hand while reaching to pinch her other nipple. “Yes, yes, Master. Hurt me. Fuck, it feels good.”

Happy Release Day Interview with Angelica Dawson

Hello, Angelica, and a very warm welcome to The Naughty Pages. I’m thrilled to have you here today to discuss your writing.
~So Gentleman is your latest book, and is the third book in the Blue Moon House series. How many books do you have planned for the series?
I hope to have one novella for each vampire, which will make eight volumes in total. Each new book is a prequel to the one before, until I get to the oldest.

~Can you tell us a little bit about Gentleman?
Harrold is the vampire that chooses Julia, the main character in the first Blue Moon House. This is his story. He lives and empty life, with a loveless marriage. Unable to find fulfillment in his home, he turns to whores to debase him. As his requirements of them escalate, one whore refers him to Blue Moon House, where he can find what he seeks, and more than he knew he needed.

~How about a brief history of what has happened in the series so far (without giving too much away of course!)?
Writing a series in reverse is an interesting process. The original Blue Moon House has hints about each vampire’s past that I attempt to pay off in that story, but I also know what is to come and can plant pointers to the future, and books already published. Beginning in the present day, Blue Moon House portrays a coven of vampires that are deeply linked, both by their sexual desires for each other as well as their human prey. Julia has to convince each of them that she is someone they want to include in their family. Kitten tells the story of the next youngest vampire, Jocelyn. She has a lesbian bend, but enjoys men very much, thank you. She has a dark past that she must come to terms with if she is to grow beyond her submission to one vampire and become a mate for all of them. Gentleman is Harry’s story. Prior to that (time-wise) and soon to come, I hope, is Slave. Will is a masochist in each of the prequels, a man who relishes in delivering pain, in pushing his partner to his physical breaking point. His past explains how he met the vampires of Blue Moon House, what he learned from them, and how he became the fearsome man we see in the other books. That leaves four more stories to come. Terrance is of Nordic decent and frequents the same whorehouse as his father, Blue Moon House. When a fire robs the vampires of their home, Terrance takes his inheritance and risks it all to move to America and reap the profits of a growing community. He is also able to give the vampires a new house where they can be more than mere whores. Nicholas is the second oldest vampire, but joins the story after Lynn and Sophia. He is desperate to find a way to live with himself after killing almost everything that has ever meant anything to him. He loses it all one more time only to be saved by his new vampire friends and lovers. Lynn is Sophia’s first vampire offspring. Working in the same whorehouse as Sophia, she comes to know the vampire and her loneliness. Although she tries many times to have a child, Lynn decides to give up that chance to live on in the next generation and instead live forever with her best friend. Sophia is the original vampire and director of Blue Moon House. Her story will cover her escape during the murder of her vampire family, her attempts to hide herself and her nature while running across continental Europe, and her success in both hiding and feeing as a whore in London.

~So tell me, what specifically do you write?
Specifically? That’s very difficult. I write a wide range of fiction. I started two fantasies with erotic tones. Blue Moon House delves a bit into historical. I have a military short as well as a New Adult, Campus Sexploits story. I suppose, I write whatever my characters want me to write.

~What type of writer are you; do you plot it out or, like myself, are you a pantser? Is being a pantser even an option for being a poet?
I’ve never considered myself a poet, but I am absolutely a pantser. I am very character driven, and especially in the Blue Moon House books, exterior characters have wormed their way into my stories and become vital to the telling. I do plot, but in a very general and open sense. I have a starting point, and end point, and one or more aims through the middle. How I get from one to the next and who takes me there, is up for grabs.

~Why did you first take up the pen, so to speak?
When I first read Twilight, I had a very clear image for myself of Alice meeting Japser in the diner. It was so vivid that I was compelled to write it. From there I wrote a plethora of fanfiction, mostly for Twilight and honed my skill. My first original novel was written less than a year after that and I gave up fanfiction three years ago when I decided to focus on my own stories and characters. Blue Moon House was another story that compelled me. The vampires and Julia were so intense, so fascinating, that I couldn’t really do anything else until I got them out of my head. I wrote the first draft, approximately 20 000 words, in one weekend. Then I took a deep breath and sat on it for a few months before editing and later submitting it for publication.

~Did you always know you would write?
No, although I have been writing most of my life. I used to write elaborate and fanciful things in grade school that blew the doors off what my classmates were doing in terms of scope and length. In high school, I wrote my first novella and started my first novel which I finished before convocation from University. However, University was a very bad time for me. It was when I really got hit with homesickness and a loneliness I’d never experienced before. I felt isolated for the first time in my life and it was then that depression sunk in and I had my first anxiety attacks. The middle two years taxed me completely and I went into my final year utterly burnt. I stopped writing then. I gave up any thought of doing a Masters’ thesis, which had been appealing when I started my post-secondary education. Approximately a decade later, the muse returned.
So, no, I didn’t always know, but in hindsight, I probably should have expected it. J

~You write specific genres; do you find them enjoyable to read as well?
As Angelica Dawson, I write specifically erotica. I have another penname for young adult fiction, speculative fiction, and fantasy. In terms of erotic subgenres, I am most fond of BDSM and menage. These two let me explore love and sex between several people, through pain and learn what might be going through the heads of some of the people enjoying the lifestyle. Unfortunately, I am very picky about reading erotica. Most of what I’ve found is too blatant, too graphic, too physical. I want to make my head work. I want to see how the sex affects the personality, the relationship, the world around them. I want the sex to drive the story, not simply be added to make it steamy. The type that turns me off the most are those where the lovers are not being respectful of one another. Aggressive male figures that demand of newly met women something only a partner who actually knows her should be. I look at their actions and think, “what a jerk! She should kick him in the nuts and walk out” but of course, she is completely drunk on his power. *eyes roll* It’s not only men over women. I’ve seen m/m stories that aren’t so different, menage where the third party is held in rather than drawn or enticed. I worry about what people are taking away from these stories.

~As a writer, who is an idol of yours?
Robert Jordan, from my fantasy/scifi side. He has such an elaborate story/world/magic system. I have found that, as a pantser, this is the one thing I cannot do. I can explore a world and try to make it broad and deep, but that takes a lot longer than writing a novella or single novel. I’m still working on one.

~Is it the same person for you as a reader? If not, who is your favourite author to read?
Yes, I do love reading the Wheel Of Time books as well as many other fantasy and speculative fiction authors

~Are the any shoutouts you’d like to make?
Yes. I’m part of three weekly blog groups, Tantalizing Tuesday, Thursday Tastes and Flasher Fiction Friday. My blog is http://angelicadawson.blogspot.com/ The ring leaders for these are Naomi Shaw and Muffy Wilson. The pair of them have been a huge buoy for me. Pablo Michaels is also a key supporter of my writing and I am grateful to him for that. I’d also like to mention Gina Kincade, my publisher. I have nearly given up writing and publishing a dozen times since Blue Moon House was accepted for publication. She has had faith in me when I have none in myself. I would not be releasing Gentleman without her.

Excerpt:
“Harrold, this is Percival Jackson and his wife Priscilla.” He clasped Percival's hand and nodded to the elegant woman next to him. Her gown probably cost twice what Veronica's did, something she was sure to complain about later. Veronica introduced him to two more pairs, all emigrated from England with substantial inherited wealth. She might not meet his expectations sexually, but Veronica was exceptional at getting her foot in the most exclusive doors. It had proved financially beneficial in the past.
After standing by her side through several inane conversations, Harrold's attention began to waver. Gazing over the assembly, he paused to admire several bodices and more than one cinched waist. Having a wife gave him respect and position, but Veronica took no offense at his wandering eye. If anything, she encouraged it, eager for him to find another bed.
The woman who drew his attention most wore a fitted dress with short sleeves, her arms bare down to her fingertips. That was probably why she was surrounded by men, each taking his turn holding her hand and kissing those fingers. She looked his way, and he found himself unable to break the gaze. Minutes later, he glanced her way again and admired her throat as she tipped it back, laughing —no necklace. Obviously she wasn't the wife of any of the guests: they wore gloves and necklaces as well as ornaments in their hair. She was still smiling when she met his eyes again, holding his gaze like it belonged to her. She blinked and turned, speaking to the gentlemen surrounding her before leaving them and striding in his direction.
“Follow,” she said when she came near, walking right past him.
He didn't excuse himself to his wife or her friends. None of them seemed to take any notice. Veronica didn't break in conversation, covering his withdrawal. The bewitching woman looked over her shoulder and seemed unsurprised to see him there. Her eyes drew his attention, glittering shards of topaz or amber. They seemed to glow unnaturally in the lamplight. She led him down a corridor and opened a door next to a pair of chatting women. Both watched them, but neither said a thing.
“You are a difficult man to get a hold of, Harrold. I don't think I like that,” she said as she strode to a trimmed lamp and opened it, casting the room in a gentle glow.
“Pardon, madam, but I'm sure I'd remember if I made your acquaintance.”
Full red lips pulled up on one corner in a smirk. “You had better believe you would.” Her lusty tone told him much. “We haven't met,” she said, circling him. “I'd been informed that you were in need of my services.”
Harrold's brow furrowed. What woman provided a service he needed? What service...?
A light shone behind his eyes just as she said, “Delores was quite insistent. More than is proper. I had to set her down for that.” Lynn, for that must be who this woman was, regarded her painted nails. “She enjoyed that, I think. Would you?” She glanced at Harrold from the corner of those oddly sparkling eyes.
“Would I what?” He was completely flustered. How had a whore gotten into this party?
Her palm slapped across his face. It was a sensation he was familiar with. Many ladies had spurned his advances when he was younger. However, this woman had a stronger arm than any of them. This pain rivaled that of the time his cousin had punched him in the jaw for dandling his lady.
“You will pay heed when I speak. Would you enjoy being reprimanded by me?”
The suggestion alone made him burn. She was the ideal woman, strong, in complete command, not only of him, but every man at the party. Her force of presence bested that of most of the men he had met. He would love to obey her commands, especially if, as he suspected, they were anything like Delores'.
Her arm moved fast, spinning around to come up between his legs. He gasped in surprise and then winced as she squeezed him in her hand. The pain made his eyes water.
“You will not hesitate to answer, either.”
“Y-yes, madam,” he said through clenched teeth.
“Better.” She eased her grip, fondling him, massaging one nut and then the other before running a finger up his length.
“Despite putting me at such inconvenience, I believe Delores is right.” She pulled her hand back with a sigh. “Before we go any further, however, I need you to agree to the following terms.” She pulled up the drawstring at her belt to access her small purse. Unfolding a square of paper, she revealed a simple contract.

Special Guest and Important Message - Author Chat Friday

This, the fifth Friday of May, is a special Author Chat. I'm delighted to welcome special guest Angelica Dawson to The Naughty Pages with a very special message, a very important message for everyone; not just those who live the Naughty life.

Trust and BDSM

Jocelyn, the protagonist of Kitten, was a victim of gang rape. That event is never described in detail, but  rather in bursts and flashes of memory. After the revelation, she is still handled roughly by men in the  book, however, none of them rape her.

A line in BDSM, that is often drawn with smudging, is consent. She has given herself to me so I can do  whatever I want with her. It’s a scary thought. It puts women back into a position they held years ago  where they were victims of men, unable to stand up for themselves with any expectation of being respected in her wishes.

Done properly, a Master knows his partner’s limits and may press them but not pass them. It isn’t fair  to take someone’s trust and betray it before they can have a chance to say no. Jocelyn comes to trust  Will despite his violent nature and degrading language. It is made apparent to her that it is a game. He  can say anything without really meaning it. He spreads his violence out, letting punishments be titillating  instead of painful. Most importantly, when helping her move beyond her rape fears, he moves slowly.

He lets her know up front where it is headed and what she will do, “All of your holes can take me,” but  he goes slow, using first fingers, then smaller men, and finally himself.

Jocelyn informs the vampires on her first encounter that she isn’t interested in rape play. She say, “I  might be willing to be hurt, but I won’t be raped again.” This is a perfect instance of not establishing the  trust and ground rules up front. Terrance, her first partner in Blue Moon House, isn’t playing hard, he  isn’t going for broke, but even so, he discovers where her limits are and what is out of bounds.

I don’t claim my book is an excellent primer on BDSM. I know it’s not. However, I do hope to faithfully  respect the wishes of my characters and portray a safe environment. There is another scene where  Jocelyn thinks perhaps she has misplaced her trust and the thought is echoed by one of the vampires.

“You cannot truly be a part of this house unless you trust your master. We have no place for you  otherwise.”

To completely surrender to another requires trust. I hate to think of that trust being betrayed by  someone who selfishly seeks their own pleasure and assumes they know what is best for their partner.

Communication is the key to any relationship, and the reason why the vampires reveal themselves  immediately after such trust is established. They are in as much danger as their partners. If they are  discovered they risk being hunted and killed. The stakes for them are easily as high as the human  partners who surrender to their bites as well as canes, paddles, chains and any other implements used  to combine pain and pleasure.

Trust is the bottom line in Blue Moon House, and Kitten is no exception.

Angelica Dawson is the author of Blue Moon House, a vampire BDSM story, and its prequels. She’s  no stranger to blood sucking hoards, but in her day job as an environmental consultant, they tend  to be black flies and mosquitoes rather than vampires. She is constantly sharing flashfiction on her blog and can also be found on twitter  and Facebook. Her books, including the newly released Kitten, can be purchased from her publisher, Amazon and All Romance Ebooks.

Promo Monday with Angelica Dawson's Writing Exploits

Angelica Dawson has two titles with Naughty Nights Press. She is one of four authors contributing to the third Campus Sexploits Anthology. Her solo credit, and the story that still fills her writing time, is Blue Moon House, a BDSM house run by vampires. They require absolute obedience and absolute secrecy. The first book features Julia, who is trying to convince the other vampires of the house to agree to her Master's request to keep her and turn her into a vampire.

The vampires of Blue Moon House are typical: they drink blood and are vulnerable to fire, but they have a few tweaks as well. They can stand the sun for short periods, but are harmed by long exposure. They also have a mysterious element in their saliva that acts as a potent aphrodisiac. You want to be bitten by these bad boys (and girls).

After writing Blue Moon House and meeting all the vampires, Angelica took on the mission of writing a story for each one. Teasers of these are featured on her blog on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. To get a sample of her writing, she has offered the following excerpt, but you can also read flash fiction weekly on her blog, particularly Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Pressing Julia’s face to the bed, Sophia’s hand came down hard, making Julia wince at the stinging. Then there was burning as Sophia’s teeth broke the skin of Julia’s left buttock. Another spank and another bite.

“Tell me you are prepared,” Sophia demanded.

“I-I am,” Julia stammered. Harry had instructed her to take extra iron and over-hydrate in anticipation of being fed upon this weekend. She expected Sophia wouldn’t be the only one to bite her. All these bites were quick though, small blood loss. Julia was sure the purpose was to put Sophia’s saliva into the wounds. It had an aphrodisiac effect, making Julia start to sway her hips as she became hotter and wetter. Sophia indulged her, fingers stirring her pussy only to stop and spank her again for several minutes, long enough for the edge of pleasure to recede into pain. Then Sophia would bite again and start fondling.

The spanking was followed by a more thorough fucking, and then by a flogging. Most recently Sophia had used a wand, vibrating Julia to orgasm. Julia was covered in sweat, shuddering. Her legs collapsed, and Sophia’s hands alone kept her from falling down. She replaced the wand with a new toy, a rabbit, held inside her by a harness. Sophia turned on the settings and held Julia’s legs as the toy began to rotate and vibrate. When Julia clenched and the toy jarred, slowing its turning, Sophia’s eyebrows raised. However, as soon as Julia relaxed at all the straps pulled it back in. Julia bit her tongue, pulled against the ropes on her arms, screamed freely, but the toy didn’t budge, didn’t cease. After a while, Sophia turned up the setting.

Sophia’s blue eyes filled Julia’s swimming vision. Her last command had been to look at her. Her throat was hoarse from screaming in pleasure, in pain; her chest was heaving with the effort of her vaginal contractions, pulling her diaphragm, her thighs; all of her was consumed by the continued climax. Julia whimpered, licking her lips, her mouth dry.

“There you are,” Sophia murmured and the grinding suddenly stopped.

Special Midweek Promo with Angelica Dawson

Yesterday got a bit hectic in the house, so I am a day late (actually a week late, but all's forgiven!), but here I am finally hosting Angelica Dawson, lovely author of Blue Moon House, and contributing author to Campus Sexploits 3!! Take it away, Angelica!

Blue Moon House excerpt
“MmmmMmmaximum.” Julia wept loudly. Blood was trickling down her back and over her
breasts where the cruel whip had broken her skin. She burned everywhere, stinging from her first
beating at his hand, and then adding the salt of sweat, the blood. Sagging against the chains that held
her mostly upright, she sobbed bitterly.
The whip was gone and Harry was there, releasing her wrists. “Terrance. Did you have to be so
hard?”
The tall, icy man softened for the first time Julia had seen. “Everyone has a limit. If she would
join us, I would know hers. Now, I do. Take care of her, Harrold.”
Julia’s mind logged the response but couldn’t think about it in the midst of the pain. Harry was
licking her wounds, his saliva closing them faster but burning them further. Julia screamed again.
“Hush,” Harry said with concern, his voice soft and familiar, a raft for Julia to grasp in the sea of
pain. There was a stabbing in her leg.
“That will help. You will sleep soon, Julia. In the morning, the pain will be much less, I
promise,” Terrance told her, pulling her hair off her face and mopping it with a cool cloth.
“I-I’m not...” She didn’t know how to ask if she was unworthy.
“You impress me, Julia. I look forward to having centuries to get to know more of you, other
limits.”
Julia flinched, crying out and hugging Harry. Terrance laughed and the difference between that
and the cold demands, the hard mocking he’d given her all night made her turn back.
“Never pain, Julia. I found that limit.”
She relaxed, the drug they’d given her taking effect. It didn’t make her dopey, but she was
exhausted. Terrance had followed only hours after Lynn. Julia hoped that was the end of the women.
All had known of her distaste, but only Jocelyn had pushed it, knowing she could be pushed. Lynn had
been more like Sophia.
When she woke on the large bed, she did ache, but all the burning was gone. She saw welts all
over her body, but smelled a tincture that had been applied to speed her healing. It was working. She
rose slowly though, wincing at times, to find herself breakfast.
For the first time, Julia wondered just how many vampires there were in Blue Moon House. Was
she near the end yet? She hadn’t changed her mind. Her family lived far away and she only saw them
on holidays. She had a few friends she would miss keenly, but they would be fine without her. No one
depended on her, except possibly her co-workers, and she’d been meaning to walk out on them for
months now.
“Whoa. Are you okay?” one of the other submissives, a man of middle years, asked.
Julia nodded, sitting very gingerly in the dining room. Pain spread across her bottom and then
receded a little after she had sat a moment. Sucking through her teeth, she pushed it away. Then she
lifted her juice.
“Who?” he asked. It wasn’t a common question. Masters were usually kept private.
“Terrance,” Julia’s voice was a croak.
The man’s mouth hung open. “But Terrance never... I mean, I hope you feel better soon.”
Julia grabbed at his elbow. “You belong to Terrance?” she asked.
“I did,” the man answered. “He was too soft, too gentle for what I wanted. He sent me to Will.”
The man’s grin gleamed. “I’m very happy now.”
Julia stiffened and regretted it when her bruises panged. Will, she was sure, would have her
next. “I see. Have you had other Masters?”
“Not in the House. I’m Justin.” He offered his hand and Julia took it. “You’re older than most,”
he observed.
She chuckled. “So are you.” Most of the submissives were in their mid-twenties. Both Julia and
Justin were well over thirty. Julia was only a year and a bit from forty. It had posed problems when she
started in the BDSM community - no one had wanted her. Blue Moon House, Harry specifically, had
not turned her away after one session.
“Touché. Why Terrance?” he asked.
Julia shook her head, sure she couldn’t tell him, unsure if she was even allowed.
“Who is your Master normally?” Justin asked.
Julia’s eyes went soft. “Harry.”
Justin smiled. “I’ve often wished he took men. Not that I’m not happy with Will. I thought about
it most when I was with Terrance,” he admitted.
Julia simply nodded. She ate slowly, relishing the nourishment, the fluids. Her body felt every
year of thirty-eight today. The spare flesh had been kind to her in the beginning, cushioning blows so
they stung but didn’t bruise. She’d lost weight, though not a lot, since coming here and her joints ached
in a way they hadn’t a year or two ago.
She chuckled to herself as Justin rose. He quirked an eyebrow and she shook her
head. “Nothing.” She’d just been thinking how little she’d miss those aches when she was a vampire.
