Jake rested
his head on David’s shoulder and heaved a deep sigh. “It’s over.”
He felt
David’s face move into a smile against the top of his head. “Yes, it is.”
“Tell me
again why we agreed to host the New Year’s party this time?”
“Because
you were drunk off your ass and didn’t realise how much work went into organizing
a party this big.”
Jake lifted
his head and glared at his lover. “You could have stopped me.”
David
cupped his cheek and a cheeky twinkle gleamed in his eyes. “I wanted you to
learn your lesson. No more parties.”
Jake sighed
again. “Agreed. We’re getting too old for this crap.” He placed his head back
on David’s shoulder and darkness descended as sleep claimed him.
Ok, it was a little longer than 100 words. Oh well. Hope you enjoyed!
