Promo Monday with Eden Glenn's Galloping Ghoul

This Monday sees two things: 1. I start Uni (excitement!); and 2. The first of two Eden's with promo. Silly me almost posted the wrong one! But enough silliness, on to business with Eden Glenn's Galloping Ghoul!!(One of y favourite covers on Promo Monday so far, FYI)

The Galloping Ghoul rides each full moon, exacting revenge by frightening those who tormented
his past. By day, he is one of the town people, Nathaniel Hawkins, an affluent entrepreneur.
He identifies with Ike Sandhill, a government surveyor, and wants to protect him from the
same thugs who drove Nathaniel to revenge. Ike goes to the extreme to prove to everyone
how straight laced he is. He pursues Misty VonMix with the intention of marriage. Nathaniel
doesn't know how to confess his desire without driving Ike away. He comes up with a plan
of seduction. Before the night is over Ike discovers things about himself he always knew, yet
denied.

Massachusetts, 1790
Somewherein the Bridgewater Triangle, old wives tell tales in hushed tones about strangelights in the sky and the Galloping Ghoul of Hockomock Swamp. They say thespecter rides on the night of the full moon. They don’t know what drives him tohaunt unsuspecting travelers. Those who’ve crossed his path flee in fear fortheir lives. If the victims know why he rides, they never say.

. . .
Nathaniel drewcloser in the deadly race. The gap closed but not fast enough and his heartjolted when the tired animal stumbled.
“Socrates!” Ikeshouted the encouragement to his floundering steed.
Nathaniel struggledto rescue Ike from himself. He didn’t have time to calculate a fancy plan. Hejust needed one that would work. His options werelimited but inspiration with a dose of blind luck seldom failed him. He threwback the cloak of his headless ghoul disguise, surprised the costume survivedthe mad race. The muskmelon head he carried to aid his full moon revelry wouldbe forfeit. “Mother luck, do not fail me now.” Nathaniel lobbed the ball shapedfruit at Ike’s ridiculous hat  to savethe life of the man he’d benefactored, secretly lusted after and suspected heloved.
He watched inhorror as the horse hit the mud. Simultaneously the horse stumbled into themuck and the melon impacted Ike’s head sending the man tumbling ass over earsinto a thicket of bushes. Pulling on Augustus’ reins, Nathaniel jumped whilehis horse slid to a stop. He leaped to the ground as the wretched Socratesmiraculously scrambled to safety on the opposite bank of bog.
Nathaniel collapsedto his knees by Ike, unmindful of the sharp sting of sticks slicing thru hisbritches. Prickly bramble bushes had cushioned the surveyor’s fall. Nathaniel’sshaky hand quested for a pulse and calmed at the pounding rhythm of life underhis fingers. He untangled Ike from the vines, fighting to inflict minimaldamage from the biting briers.
. . .
Augustus stoodpatiently while Nathaniel hoisted Ike’s lanky frame up into the saddle andmounted behind to support his unconscious burden. The flight brought them to theborders of Nathaniel’s estate.
“Time to go home,Augustus.”
Nathaniel’s pulsepounded at the proximity of Ike in the saddle, his head resting on Nathaniel’sshoulder. How badly he wanted to brush the wayward lock of golden hair backfrom the man’s brow. No more hiding. Before the night was over Nathaniel wouldbe sure Ike Sandhill knew his full intentions. He couldn’t go on in this limbohalf-life watching from afar. By dawn, they would both be changed men. Heprayed he could convince Ike to take what he had to offer, to take a chance, totake something, anything from him.

Pt 1 Claimed: Private Parts (Claimed: An Erotic Awakening by V. N. Dare

The first thing I notice about the writing by Ms Dare is how smooth it flows. It doesn’t take long for me to sink within the story until I feel that I’m standing close by watching, or better yet in Anna’s mind, experiencing what she experiences. This is aided by the fact that Private Parts is written in first person; something I normally find a little tacky, but is very well done in this instance.

The descriptions and details are strong and vivid, events seem natural and Anna’s emotions are perceivable. She’s an extremely relatable character yet still sensuous enough to be more.

The final thing that is outstanding about this is the fact that Ms Dare keeps each part small, but hot, so that I was hooked but didn’t get the whole thing at once. It’s like enjoying a block of chocolate two squares at a time, rather than all at once. This is very unorthodox, with the only other case of this I know of being Summer Daniels’ series, yet it works. Not many stories could pull this off, but Claimed is definitely one of them. Very tantalising, I thoroughly look forward to part two!
Private Parts is available on Amazon.

Happy Birthday Joseph Chastain, for you a review!

This is my second review of a screenplay, both of them by Mr Chastain. I must say this one was an absolute delight! Full of wrestling facts with generous doses of comedy as well. The characters are all relatable, and situations perceivable, which seems to be a signature of Joseph.

I also detect a moral woven within these scenes, that we shouldn’t hold on to grudges as they don’t just affect those immediately involved, but also those around us.

The styling is very Brechtian, with placards and time jumps of memory, which I personally love, being a fan of Bertolt Brecht from my own days of theatre as a teen. A mentionable name who clearly uses Brechtian type style for films has to be Quentin Tarantino, one of my favourite directors and screen writers. So with that in mind, I do see bright things in the future for this screen writer/director/producer if he keeps up this quality of writing.

Marks is definitely a film I would love to see on screen!

Thoughtful Tuesday: The Internet Community

I know I don't normally post on Tuesdays, but when an idea pops in to your head, you have to strike while the iron's hot!
Many people are suspicious of meeting new people via the Wicked World Web, which is fair enough. There are a lot of people using the internet as hunting ground for scamming people out of money and goodness knows what else. But then, just as in real life, you do find your gems; genuine people just like yourself who just want to make a connection with others, to share success and sorrow, have a laugh or raise awareness for a good cause.
It doesn't matter where you look in life, there will be people not worthy of your time, those who hide behind fake smiles and names just for a quick romp between the sheets, or pretend to be honest and decent then just try to screw you over. Happens in real life, happens online. Either way, you have to be careful and don't give out personal details. It's all about being smart and it annoys me to know end when people complain about the amount of scams online. As if scams don't happen any other way. Honestly.
But I'm not posting this to focus on the bad. I want to talk about all the good that can happen online in the Internet Community.
I myself have had the pleasure of finding many good among the bad. That's how I initially met the man I've been with for the past (almost) 7 years. It's where I've met a few insanely talented artists I'm pleased to call friend, and it's where I've stumbled in to the network that now sees me months from being published. (Not counting Postcards of Passion since it's a free anthology, though it does count.) I am so thrilled to have come across the people who have helped me figure out my dream, and make that dream come true.
The internet also helps me realise another goal through Open Universities: to achieve a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Profeessional Writing and Publishing. I start this degree in just under a week and I can't wait! What can I say, I'm a glutten for punishment, a sucker for assignments and learning.
There is on drawback to all these wonderful things, though: Most people I talk to online, with the exception of a few I went to school with, family and a friend I met through a school friend, are all too far away to visit, whether they be in another state or another country altogether. Some of these people I would absolutely love to meet face to face, and I can only imagine the belly-splitting laughs to be had at such a time!
Who knows, maybe one day I'll meet some of them. Until then, thank goodness for the Wicked World Web!

Promo Monday with Lee Ann Sontheimer Murphy

In The Shadow of War
Rebel Ink Press May 17 2012
$5.99
206 pages
ISBN # RIP0004104

Blurb:
Her great-granddaughter wants to know if Bette remembers World War II for a school project and her questions revive old memories….
Small town school teacher Bette Sullivan's life was interrupted when the Japanese bomb Pearl Harbor on December 7th 1941 but her world changed forever when she met Private Benny Levy, a soldier from the Flatbush neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York stationed at Camp Crowder, the local Army base.

Their attraction is immediate and mutual but as their relationship grows their love and lives are shadowed by World War II. As the future looms uncertain the couple comes together with almost desperate need and a powerful love they hope can weather anything, including the war.

Excerpt:
“Come on, we can sit here a while if you want,” Bette told him, settling her skirts beneath her as she sat on a step. Ben lowered himself beside her, still holding her hand.
“God, this is really something. We’ve got parks in Brooklyn, some of them nice, but nothing like this. Prospect Park’s got a lake and it’s great, but nothing like this. Whaddya call it again?”
“Everyone just calls it the grotto,” Bette said with a smile. She snuggled closer to him so her dimity dress and his tan khaki shirt touched. His body heat contrasted with the cool of the spring and made her skin tingle.
“It’s peaceful,” he told her, voice just above a whisper. “It’s almost like church. They all told me about the park, how to meet girls here, but no one mentioned this. Thanks, Bette.”
“You’re welcome, Benny,” she replied, his name rolling off her tongue as if she’d used it all her life. Then she recalled he’d said his mother used Benny. “Or do you prefer just Ben?”
Those delightful gray eyes met hers, candid and open. “You know, most people call me Ben and its okay by me. My ma says Benny, my baby name, and so does my kid brother half the time, plus maybe a few old people from the neighborhood back home. I don’t think I’d tell anyone else it’s kosher but yeah, you can call me Benny if you want.”
“Okay, Benny,” she said, trying it out again with permission. She liked the familiarity of the nickname because it fit the connection she felt with him. He must have sensed something similar because he put his arm around her and she rested against him, content.
They sat in easy silence for a few minutes, a comfortable time stretching out sweet and comfortable.
“Hey Bette?”
“Yeah?”
Ben Levy faced her and traced the line of her upper lip with one slow finger. The sensation sent shivers through her with his touch lighter than a butterfly’s brush.
“Do you mind if I kiss you?”
She ached for his kiss. “If you don’t, I’ll probably die.”
“I’ll take that as affirmative,” Ben said as he put his lips over hers.
His mouth joined hers with a soft caress evoking a deep tenderness within. He kissed her like a porcelain doll, fragile and precious. Bette’s emotions kindled as his lips shifted from sweet to heat and she returned his kiss.
Fever sparked between them with heat and the sweetness of the syrup she’d drizzled over her pancakes. Bette tasted both coffee and his Lucky Strike cigarettes, but she didn’t mind. His scent infused her with longing. He smelled like a man, of soap and cigarettes and sweat and just something so quintessentially Ben Levy. She’d kissed a few men, but no other kiss invoked her body and soul the way his did.

Review of Naughty Hot Shots: Love Bite by Ashlynn Monroe

I love these Naughty Hot Shots. Sometimes we get too busy to give a longer story the attention they deserve, which is why these shorts are fantastic. Ms Monroe has added a third notch in the proverbial bed post to which I delegate these wonderful pieces. Not only is this a story I can read quickly in what little time I can spare, it is very hot and has vampires, which is almost always a selling point to hook my interest.

Once my attention was reeled in, Ashlynn’s fantastic style of writing and intriguing plot kept me from distraction. She clearly has a firm grasp on the BDSM and D/s lifestyle, and it’s apparent in the natural flow of her story, the emotions of the characters coming through in their actions and speech. It’s always a joy reading about a subject the author has obviously researched thoroughly, or knows from personal experience.

The twist from Master Creator to gift is delightfully delicious, and Ashlynn does well to brush over eighty years with just enough information of what had happened in between. This has the possibility of being a full length novel, yet its short length has left nothing necessary out. All the same, I didn’t want it to end. I easily could have lost myself for hours in Ms Monroe’s writing and I will have to give myself the chance one day!

Friday Promo with Raymond Frazee to Captivate and Control...

I must begin with an apology to everyone, as this was supposed to be posted on Wednesday. Unfortunately our mobile broadband is near it's month's usage already, and our phone and unlimited broadband were only just connected this morning. So today shall be another twofer, with a promo this morning and the review of Ashlynn Monroe's Naughty Hot Shots: Love Bite to follow later today.

Following on about the review, it shall be my second last for a while, as I shall be starting full time study in a little over a week to attain my Bachelor's Degree in Professional Writing and Publishing. Until I settle in to a routine with that and figure out how heavy a workload I'll have to accommodate reviews around it, I shall refrain from reviews. However Promo Mondays, special midweek promos and guest blogs will be the go, as well as updates from Uni, such as assignment and exam results, not to mention progress on my writing when I manage to get anything written.

But enough hijacking this promo piece for my own purposes, have a read, and get Captivated by another wicked release from Naughty Nights Press!

Naughty Nights Press would like you be CAPTIVATED AND CONTROLLED the new release by the talented and sexually enigmatic Raymond Frazee. Let Raymond tickle your fancy as he delves into the world of BDSM, Kinks and Fetishes.

Captivate and Control by Raymond Frazee

Synopsis:

For anyone who has ever wondered, this story is a tasty treat into a small “slice of the BDSM lifestyle”.

Not your everyday book about a man meeting a girl in a bar and they hook up for a night of wicked passion and lust.

This is a very simple, engaging tale, of light/introductory BDSM erotic romance however; the story covers a lot of different areas and kinks to whet your interest.

Some may not appeal to everyone, but then again, it might just unknowingly grab your interest as you delve into the deeper eroticism behind the story.

In this story, it quickly goes from something a little bit kinky, to harder D/s play, to full-on bondage
Excerpt to tease you with:

Brielle began toying with the rim of her daiquiri glass. “My dear sir,” she asked coyly, “are you suggesting some form of debauchery?”

There was a moment of silence as Naiman considered the question. The he looked over the bar, glanced to the bartender, and when he once more turned his gaze to Brielle his smile was beaming. “For what I have in mind, debauchery is such a...crude word.”

Brielle nodded slowly. “And how would you describe it then?” She turned on her own smile. “And why pick me from all the other women here?”

“To answer the first question...” It was Naiman’s turn to lean in and position himself uncomfortably close to Brielle. He knew he was invading her space, but he was also aware that it was far easier to hold a semi-private conversation this way. “I enjoy playing with limits. Mine, yours; doesn’t matter. I like to set off in a certain direction with another person, go as far as we can go – and then...” He made a quick walking motion over Brielle’s crossed knee with his fingers. “Walk a little further.”

“And as for why you of all the women here?” Naiman crossed his leg and sat upright for a moment to work the kinks out of his back before leaning back even closer. “You’re lovely in a natural way; you sit here very poised, without trying to be the center of attention; your outfit is extremely complementary and doesn’t make you look like a fashion victim...” He ran his left index finger along his cheek as if to ponder his next statement. “And I’m a sucker for a woman in boots.”

Brielle gave Naiman a look of disbelief. She started checking out people in the tiny bar. “That girl over there,” she said, pointing to the short blonde woman near the entrance. “She’s wearing boots; are you a sucker for her as well?”

Naiman turned and closely examined the woman. “Oh, she’s nice...” He turned back to Brielle. “But are you interested in my real opinion of her, or is this simply a test to see if I’m laying a bullshit line on you?”

Brielle nodded. “Yes,” she said, an embarrassed smile upon her face.

Naiman turned his attention back to the woman, with Brielle looking on and listening. “First off, she’s attractive, I’ll give you that much. However...” He pointed as he spoke. “She’s got a bubble ass. Now, personally, I love a bubble ass on a woman...what I don’t like is that she taken her bubble ass and squeezed it into what looks like a Lycra dress that’s probably a size too small. That not only makes it look bigger, but it’s sticking out there pretty much just waiting for some guy to rub his cock against it.

“And just like her ass, that dress presses on her breasts and pushes them up, making them look not only larger, but it sticks them out there where anyone could just walk up and...” Naiman make a pinching motion with his fingers. “She’s not wearing a bra, and those nipples are just begging to be set free.

“And, since you pointed out she’s wearing boots...yes, those are very nice – almost certainly as expensive as yours. But where yours have thick, stacked heels that’ll help you walk in them better, hers are stilettos – probably five inches, too, putting them squarely in the ‘fuck me heels’ category.

“What that all adds up to is this: she’s on display, and she’s not ashamed to show it. Again, I don’t have a problem with that; it’s her body, let her do as she likes.” Naiman slowly turned back to Brielle. “I know what she’s looking for,” he said, his tone turning serious. “She wants to get off, and she’s looking for someone who’s going to get off while getting her off. If I was to go over and start hitting on her, and eventually hooked up with her, I know what I’d be getting; a body to fuck and not much else.

“You, on the other hand...” Naiman began ticking off points. “You have a very nice body. Your breasts may not be as large as hers, and while I can’t see your ass, I’m certain it’s as nice as your breasts and just as nicely presented. You’re attractive – enough said. But most of all, you’re a mystery.” He slid his stool closer before saying, “I see you and wonder, ‘What’s behind the curtain?’ The way you’re dressed, some could think you’re modest, but I know that’s not the case because you haven’t once flinched or blushed due to something I’ve said. You’re creating an illusion; you’re dressed that way because you want to keep someone like me guessing about who you really are.”

A silence lingered between Brielle and Naiman that stretched on for almost a minute. Naiman wondered if he’d pushed the envelope a bit too much, frightening her so that she might consider bolting. It had happened before, and statistically the odds were good it could happen again.

So he was very much surprised when Brielle looked him in the eye and said, “Since it would be rude to continue hiding my mystery, where would you suggest we ‘part my curtains’?”

Synopsis:

Daniel Webb is your fairly average twenty-something year-old, living in the bustling city of Stone Hills, Arkansas. High school graduate, College dropout, and currently an employee of a local coffee shop, where he spends the majority of his nights hovering over a hot grill. You know, a totally glamorous lifestyle...

Oh, yeah, and Sarelia, an elder spirit of the Lower World, gifted him with powers beyond his wildest imaginings only a few months ago. Some people would have been grateful. Others would have simply been in denial.

All Daniel feels is resentment.

Because honestly, Daniel's life is kinda sucking at the moment. His girlfriend Malorie dumped him. He's crashing on his brother, Mark's couch (who's being a bit of a dick about the whole thing), and his best friend, James Harin, won't stop smothering him with pity.

But when Daniel bumps into the sexy Alyssa Vega at The Pub and ends up going home with her for some no-strings-attached fun, something finally seems to be going right. Alyssa is just the spot of normalcy Daniel needs in his freak show of a life.

Until his sexy one night stand turns out to be a freak just like him. A rather badass freak as a matter of fact.

So much for normalcy.

As the temptation to use the power Sarelia gave him grows stronger, Daniel finally gives in and embraces the strength the power gives him. With it, he can do anything.

Well, except raise the dead.

Too bad the power's so damn addicting.

Excerpt:

The young woman gave a shudder of ecstasy and fell away from the shimmering form of the other. Exhausted from their furious lovemaking, she laid in the grass for several long minutes before she finally whispered, “Thank you, Mistress.”

When the elder spirit smiled, the expression was filled with heat and yet lacking in warmth. Moving to kneel beside the girl, she brushed a few sweat-soaked strands of hair from her face.

“My dear, I have a favor to ask of you.”

Without hesitation, the young woman nodded and pushed herself to a sitting position. “Ask it. I would do anything for you.”

Sarelia beamed, reveling in the girl's obedience, and she drew her in for another kiss, for another taste of the power the girl so loved and craved. Pulling away ever-so-slightly, the elder spirit breathed against the other's warm mouth and whispered, “I need you to keep a close eye on someone for me, dear.” Sarelia's tongue flicked out to lick along the curve of the girl's parted lips, tasting of her own sweet juices still lingering there. “A man.”

The girl shuddered once more in the elder spirit's grasp and her lips parted further, welcoming in the possessive plunge of Sarelia's tongue. “Who?”

“Daniel,” the elder spirit softly purred. They fell into each other once again, fingers busy against each other's bodies as they raced towards equally desperate climaxes. “Daniel Webb.”

Blue Fire - Domination by Cassandre Dayne

I have waited months for this particular release, ever since getting hooked by Red Fire – Surrender. Red Fire was the book responsible for making me a fan of m/m BDSM. Ever since then I have been anxious to get my hands on this hot read. I must say Ms Dayne did not disappoint!

Red Fire focused on building the bond between Detective Jax and the mysterious Russian vampire Aleks. It was steamy, and addictive. Blue Fire sees the bond deepen as Aleks introduces Jax to the misunderstood relationship that is Master and slave, while around them the city is being torn apart by unknown monsters and politicians seeking to shut down clubs catering to those who live the BDSM lifestyle.

The BDSM elements are highly erotic and deliciously dark, while details of the attacks and vicious murders are gruesomely eerie.  It is an oddly titillating combination of sexy and scary that wouldn’t allow me to put it down. I think it is a good sign when you’re gleefully swearing at the author in your head because the book is too damn good to put down, and Blue Fire is one of those books that hooks in to the mind and won’t let go. The only bad thing is that I now have to wait for Yellow Fire – Acceptance. This was the perfect follow up to Red Fire, and I eagerly anticipate the final instalment.
Blue Fire is available now, check out the Naughty Nights Press page and click on the cover to be taken to Amazon to buy your own copy!

The Scarlet Dove by Beth Carter Review and Promo

I know I usually do these separately but I was so taken in by The Scarlet Dove that I finished it in one day so instead of sitting on the review for a week, I'm posting it so that it gets an extra couple days of exposure. You never know when the review might help someone decide to buy a book!
Miss Carter’s writing is new for me, so I started reading this with no expectations. I’ll admit I didn’t find out before-hand exactly what The Scarlett Dove was about, which actually was a nice change. It meant that I had no idea where the story was going and could fully enjoy each wave in the story.

Beth sure did her research before/during writing The Scarlett Dove; even if there wasn’t a note at the beginning stating as such, it shows in the detail of her writing. This is one author who wants her story to be believable, and clearly has done a lot of work to make that so; the effort is well worth it, and makes this such an enjoyable tale.

I haven’t read western style books since I was about 14 years old, if I remember correctly. I know that at the time I loved the romance of the horses and rough men of the land, though it seemed just a phase that I outgrew. Getting so absorbed in the triangle of Liza, Blue and Apollo reminded me just how much I used to love this sub-genre, with the added element of sex, which I can now appreciate properly. I cannot thank Beth enough for re-igniting the passion!

I’m a pretty quick reader when I get the time, a fact that I pride myself on. All the same, I was not expecting to have read half of this on the first day when I was taking my time to savour every word. Miss Carter, you have created a thoroughly wonderful story that had me so lost in the pages, I was almost completely oblivious to anything around me; although I have read many a wonderful book in which I have become enthralled, it has been quite some time since I have been quite that taken in. Being a stay at home mother, it is a welcome break to be able to totally lose myself in a book and this will become a special read for me. Keep up the fantastic work; I look forward to reading so much more!
Let’s meet Apollo Beck and Blue (Morgan) Hawke of The Scarlet Dove!

Apollo and Blue are cousins. Apollo is a Texas Ranger and Blue is his partner.  Blue is half Indian and has an ear forlanguages.  They are on a manhunt for anevil con man named Reynolds for their Captain, to settle a personalvendetta.  Their hunt brings them torescue Liza from Reynolds and his evil lady friend, Mrs. Violet.  Their journey brings them together in love asthey learn how to navigate in a relationship built for three.

Excerpt describing the men:
“Andthen her eyes clashed with a man on horseback who was riding toward them on a broadbay roan. At first she thought that she’d never seen a more handsome man in herlife, big and brawny with honey-brown eyes and rich, thick lashes. His gazecollided with
hers, moved on, and then immediately came back to rake over her face before sizing upthe two people with her. When he looked back at her, she put every ounce ofpleading she could muster into her face.

Shesaw him say something to the man next to him, and Liza shifted her gaze. Thesecond man was also big and handsome, and without any doubt, he was Indian. Orat least part Indian. Though his skin was polished copper and his long obsidianhair was tied back, he looked at her through sky-blue eyes. He was dressedsimilar to his riding partner, in white man’s clothing, but all similarityceased there. There was a tempered wildness about him, bringing to mind achained lion. It made her shiver. She saw the first man talk, though she couldn’thear what he said, and the Indian shook his head. His gaze
lingeredon her, trapping her gaze with a heated intensity, until both men passed her.”

Blurb:

When Liza Trent decided to become a mail order bride outwest, she never thought her fiancé would die before she arrived; sending her$500 in debt with the only way to pay off the money by auctioning off hervirginity against her will.  When she’srescued by two handsome men, she mistakenly thinks they’re assassins, and makesa pact with them: her body in unconditional surrender for their protection.

Only the two men, Apollo Beck and Blue Hawke, aren’tassassins.  They’re Texas Rangers sentafter a man who preys on women and their dangerous hunt has just brought Lizainto the line of fire.

As they navigate a relationship built between three people,Liza has the difficult decision before her: commit to loving two men or committo her burning desire to become a doctor…unless she’s found and taken forrevenge first.

~A character interview with Second Chance Love's Teegan and Liam, by Jennifer Labelle~

Well, Today I'm delighted to introduce you to Teegan Hallowell, and Liam Bates from my Secret Cravings Publishing release 'Second Chance Love.'
Jennifer: Good morning, it's great to be back in Digby with the two of you. I can never get enough of the beautiful Nova Scotia landscape, and the deliciously fresh seafood entrée's here. Of course it always helps when your family is from here as well. J

Teegan: Hi Jennifer, it's a great morning isn't it? I didn't know your family was from Digby.

Liam: It's a small world indeed, good morning, Jennifer. Have you had our scallops recently?

Jennifer: *grins* Not from Digby exactly, but from Nova Scotia for sure, and no, Liam, I haven't had the pleasure yet. I'm more of a lobster and shrimp kind of girl.

Liam: You should give them a try while you're visiting. Digby is a scallop town, best known for the biggest and freshest you'll ever get. You should stay for lunch after we're done here. Teegan's an amazing cook.

Teegan: *laughs* why thank you, my love. I'm glad you enjoy my cooking as much as I do. *rubs her belly out of habit*

Jennifer: Thank you, both, and may I say, Teegan you're absolutely glowing. Pregnancy really suits you. When's the joyous due date?

Teegan: Thank you, Jennifer between this bundle of joy, the beautiful step son I have, and Liam's loving I finally feel like I'm the luckiest woman alive. We're due to meet little Ella, in just three months time. I'm so excited.

Liam: *leans over adoringly to kiss Teegan* As am I. This beautiful lady is about to bless us with a daughter. I'm the lucky one.

Jennifer: Congratulations, one of you is finally having a girl. Susan and Claire must be just as overjoyed as the two of you are right now with the news.

Teegan: Are they ever… *laughs* Susan is determined to have a third child more than ever now to give Ella a playmate, and Claire is just so happy after their son, Justin, was born that I think she's planning my daughters betrothal before she's even born.

Liam: Hey, hey now. Let's not rush things here. I mean my daughter is not even here yet and already you're talking about potential husbands. That is not what a father wants to talk about. Thank god, she has her older brother to protect her.

Teegan: : *giggles* Well, Justin is pretty cute so you never know…

Jennifer: *chuckles* I think there's a long way yet before either of you have to worry about boyfriends. Speaking of bigger brothers, how did LJ take the news?

Liam: Teegan is the mother LJ never had, and I'm blessed that he loves her almost as much as I do. When we told him Teegan was pregnant he was so excited, and has been active in the entire pregnancy. In fact he was there with us when we had the last ultrasound to find out.

Teegan: LJ has been amazing throughout the whole experience. We instantly bonded the moment I returned to Digby, in fact, and I love him to pieces. He's very excited and ready to spoil her like crazy. We all are.

Jennifer: That's wonderful. It's great to hear that everything is still going so well for the two of you. There were a few big changes in one way or another when Teegan returned to Digby, first with making the big move back, and then adjusting to the new life. It was certainly a dangerous and rocky road to gain the happiness you both so clearly deserve. How does it feel to finally have your story out there?

Teegan: Coming home to Digby was one of my smartest decisions, and I like to concentrate on the love story that came of it, not my near death experience with Oliver. I'm happy with how it turned out, and try to stay positive as much as I can now that I don't have to worry anymore. This is our second chance love, and I think you did a great job writing about it.

Liam: I agree one hundred percent, and it was one hell of a ride. I hope everyone enjoys the hard work you went through to get our story out there, and who knows it may help someone out there who feels like giving up. Life is what you make of it, and there is always the potential for a happily ever after if you work at it. After all, I was lucky enough to have found mine.

Teegan: *looks at Liam adoringly* My hero!

Jennifer: Is he ever. *sigh* You're both two very lucky people, and it was a pleasure to do this for the two of you. I'd like to thank you for letting me interview you today. I loved telling your story especially because of the happily ever after ending. It's a shame it doesn't happen more often when a woman is in the situation you were in, Teegan, and I'm happy I was able to give your fans such a happy update.

Teegan: I agree, Jennifer. Thank you so much. *giggles* Fans? It still seems weird to hear it, but I'm grateful.

Liam: It's always a pleasure to see you again, Jennifer. Feel free to visit anytime. We'd love for you to meet, Ella.

Jennifer: I'd love that.

So there you have it folks, if you all liked the interview, and want a great love story to warm you up at night, then check out Second Chance Love, today!

Please enjoy the blurb below, and a brief excerpt;

~SECOND CHANCE LOVE~

Goody, goody Teegan Hallowell was tired of being teased for following the rules. So, when her brother's sexy friend shows an interest, she rebels, and learns all about the good kind of bad.

Now ten years later, Teegan returns home to escape a horrible mistake, but wonders if she's made an even bigger one by returning. There was a reason she left Digby, when her dreams shattered and the man she loved betrayed her. So when she realizes she's still in love with him, matters become complicated when he reveals her reason for leaving him was all in vain.

Liam Bates has every intention of loving Teegan again, but she's had it rough and he needs to rebuild her trust. The spark is still there, and as they explore what once was, their love is tested when Teegan disappears, and Liam will stop at nothing until he finds her again.

EXCERPT:

“So tell me, do you usually take your dates on such a breathtaking adventure, or am I special?”

“Only you.” He kissed the side of her face before resting his chin at the top of her head and wrapping his arms around her. “And you are definitely something special. I normally don't take this boat for whale watching either. This one I use more often for personal use and for when I take tourists fishing. I just thought it would be more comfortable for us tonight.”

“It's a great boat. What one would you normally take?”

“A Zodiac.”

“Zodiac?” She turned to look at him, “Right now you're speaking a foreign language to me. I have no idea what type of boat that is.”

She could feel the vibration in his stomach as he laughed silently. “It's similar to those used by Marine Biologists.” He shrugged, “It's just a whale watching boat and much smaller than this one.”

“Interesting, I may have to take one of your public tours sometime. I do really love your personal ones too though. So what made you decide to open up your own business?”

“I've just always loved the water. Swimming, fishing, and exploring. After LJ was born, and I got things sorted with custody after Lucy left, I began to study Marine biology and I started from there.”

“And your logo?” Teegan smiled, “I couldn't help but notice the bright yellow sun next to the bold letters of “Bates Tours”. You really do love the sunshine, don't you?”

“I do,” he whispered. “What can I say, I love the brightness that it brings to my day. The gold highlights that call out to me. Your beautiful heart shaped face, cute little button nose.” He kissed her quickly there. “Soft, lush lips that beg to be tasted.” He kissed her quickly again. “Creamy skin, and curves in all the right places. Breasts that fit perfectly in my hands, a butt I can't help but want to squeeze and taste. Your long beautiful legs I ache to have wrapped around me. Not only beautiful on the outside, you're the total package in here as well.” He pointed to her heart. “I love that you're so good with LJ and that he likes you to. Honestly, I'm not sure why I put the sun with my logo, I guess I just thought it looked good. One thing I do know is that the only sunshine I care to concentrate on is the one I have my arms around right now.”
