 Interview
1. When did you first start writing?

A: I’ve been writing all my life; from short stories I’d ‘sell’ to my sisters, right up tomy first really terrible novel at 14. But the Dark Secrets series was my first really serious try, which has roughly been years ago maybe more.

2. What inspired you to write?

A: Music. I hear stories in all kinds of music and love to sit quietly and imagine what the story might be.

3. Who are some of your biggest influences?

A: That’s a tough one, because there aren’t really any literary ones these days. I’d say my influences are mostly musicians and filmmakers now. Peter Jackson, Muse,Thirty seconds to Mars and Birds of Tokyo, to name a few.

4. Is there a special place you go and a certain mind frame you like to be in before you write?

A: I have 4 kids. I write when they’re not hanging off my leg.

5. What's the most exciting thing that happened to you during your writing career?

A: I could say hitting number one several times on Amazon, but I like to think my most exiting thing is yet to happen.

6. How do you come up with all the characters and different exciting plots?

A: I imagine or dream about a character then start writing the story and the rest just falls into place, as if I have an ‘invisible friend’ writing along with me, or as if the story happened somewhere else and I’m just telling it.

7. What authors have inspired you through your writing and how did they inspire you?

A: Stephen King inspires me toss out excuses as to why I can’t write and also to write boldly.

8. Do you have advice for any writer who's struggling right now?

A: Nothing to it but to do it. The only guarantee you have with writing is that persistence pays and quitting leads to ultimate failure. You will begin as a terrible writer, as we all do, and you will get better. But only by actually writing.

9. What's the silliest thing that you have ever experienced in your writing career?

A: One star reviews. Ha ha ha.

10. Could you share something extra that you would like your viewers to know about you are your writing?

A: I’m a chocoholic. I suck the candy off M & Ms, three at a time, then eat the chocolate, while I write. I’m also a huge Reign, TVD and Outlander fan.

Special Promo Friday with Rawiya!

For a special post, I'm thrilled to welcome Rawiya to The Naughty Pages with her book, Sugar Daddy!

Is it Wrong To Seek A Partner with Money
Rawiya

Thanks to Phoenix for having me here today. My post is only an opinion regarding
an assumption we often make. When you see an older person with a younger one, it’s
automatically assumed the couple is together for monetary reasons. I’ve even done it
myself. Recall Anna Nicole Smith and her older rich lover? I know when I first heard
about that, I said, there’s no way she actually loves him, she wants him for his money.
We all know what happened after that. He died, she was left with part of his fortune but
his family fought her tooth and nail until he own death several years later.

There are many other famous and not so famous stories involving couples who have the
same circumstances but I wonder, is it still possible for that person to be in love and
want security?

In tough financial times like these, it would be great to have at least one person in the
relationship with money and security. Less problems to worry about right? The harmony
between these two might be better for the most part. Not saying they’ll be happy all the time but
money wouldn’t be a big issue unless one is spending too much. *snicker*

So what’s wrong with wanting a partner with cash? Sure, there things to be worked out between
the two parties regarding spending and sharing of things like credit and such but don’t all of us
want to be with someone who can love and provide for us?

That’s what my character Matthew Davidson wants. A Sugar Daddy who can take care of him
monetarily and in the bedroom. In the story, he makes his desires quite clear. The question is,
does he find the man who’s up to the challenge?

Hope you enjoyed my post. Please enjoy the blurb and excerpt from the book.
Matthew Davidson wants a MAN! The setting shifts away from the America’s to Britain where
Matthew and his childhood friend, Devon Peartly attend a cooking school to obtain their
cooking certificates. The young man wants a partner so badly, he decides he’ll try an online
dating service in hopes of finding a black man that can take care of and satisfy him romantically.

He finds that man, Antwon Bantu on an online dating site and is instantly intrigued. Little does
Matthew know that Antwon is involved in a “convenient” marriage and is seeking a younger
partner so he can finally get on with his life. Instead of confessing the truth, he decides to hide
it, fearing he’ll lose the chance with Matthew if he informs him. To complicate things, Antwon’s
wife claims to be in love with him. Antwon must choose what’s more important; loving Matthew
or saving his impeccable reputation as a top barrister in the London courts?

Hot excerpt
Antwon felt they’d had too much serious conversation. He wanted to talk about fun
things, share a few kisses. Okay more than that. No they didn’t have to go all the way,
but he wished to touch that hot body, kiss those slim lips, and so much more.

“Thank you, Matthew. I appreciate that. I’ve been thinking about coming out a lot more lately, though. I’m an older man who can stand on his own two feet. I no longer care that deeply about being accepted.” To a certain extent. “Now, I want to be loved, Matthew.”
Slowly he snaked his arm around Matthew’s lean frame hoping he’d get the hint. “By one man,” he added along with subtle touches on the young man’s neck. “As long as I have that and the support from that significant other, I don’t need those grumpy old men in my corner.” Antwon inched closer to Matthew, eliminating a lot of the space
between them. He licked his lips while maintaining eye contact with the young man. Please let me. He didn’t need to say anything. His eyes pleaded for Matthew to allow a kiss.

Matthew cracked a smile and traced the fine lines on Antwon’s face, seemingly picking up the signals. Within seconds, their mouths connected in a soft and simple kiss. Just that nearly caused Antwon’s cock to spring from his black trousers. He lifted his lids and caught Matthew’s hazel gaze once more, taking pleasure in Matthew’s gentle
caresses. “More, please…” he whispered and pulled Matthew into his strong arms, embracing him, lining up their lips once again for more of the same.

Just as he’d hoped, Matthew reciprocated the gesture and unlike the last one, this intrusion was more direct and with tongue! Oh how Antwon loved to taste a man’s tongue with his own and having a sample of Matthew’s was no exception.
As they continued, Antwon leaned back on the couch, taking the young man with him
until he was on top, crotch to crotch, and gazing down at him in surprise.

“God, Antwon,” he managed in a throaty growl before taking the older man’s mouthagain with his own.

“Mhmm,” Antwon moaned into Matthew’s kiss, offering more of his own tongue in
return. They exchanged the taste of the Merlot with their tongues telling each other
secrets. “Matthew, I want you so badly right now.” He really did. So much so he
considered breaking the promise he’d set before he left his home. No sex on this first

date. If Matthew wanted it then he’d give him just that, despite his earlier thoughts.
Something told him that wouldn’t be an issue with his prospective lover.

The young culinary student only nodded and captured his mouth again in a hot embrace
while pressing his body further into Antwon’s. Their cocks met through the soft material
and Antwon felt as though he might explode at any moment. “Matthew.” He gripped
his waist and pushed himself upwards to meet his thrusts. In one move, he slid both his
hands inside Matthew’s blue jeans, grasping his hips through his underwear. “You’re so
beautiful, Matthew.”

Still meeting his gaze, he only laughed and sat on his lap while he unbuttoned his
oxford. Seductively, one by one, he undid them, making Antwon salivate by the second
for what he was about to see. Once he finished, Matthew revealed a tanned chest –
slender, not six packed at all but lean. Perky brown nipples, pierced, looked so inviting.
He wanted to trace them with his tongue. A Chinese saying tattooed above his right
breast, and on his bicep, a black cat with sharp fangs and claws reaching out. Pretty
menacing but maybe it had some meaning to him.

“Gorgeous.” Antwon traced the line of fine hair from the centre of his torso down to
his waistband. What he’d already seen excited him but God did he want more! What’s
under those skinny jeans? He’d felt the slim hips but what about the front? What did his
cock look like? More importantly what did it taste like?

Obviously, satisfied with his approval, Matthew leaned in again, his tongue caressing
the older gentleman’s lips while his hands worked at loosening the clasp on his trousers.
Their tongues intertwined and again, their bodies aligned perfectly on the sofa. Antwon
reached in between them, undoing his own zipper, releasing his hardened shaft from its
hiding place. Once he’d pushed them down from his waist, he slipped his shirt over his
head and tossed it aside.

“Antwon, you’re so goddamn sexy!” Matthew grinned while taking both of their
erections in his palm.

Yes, they could do this. They didn’t have to sleep together. As long as there was a release
– some relief. God did he need it, even though he’d enjoy slipping inside of Matthew’s
body a lot more.

That won’t be too far off.
